Taigh-Bàta

Taigh-Bàta is a small, carefully crafted holiday let, designed using natural, breathable, and where possible, local materials. It’s situated in Plockton - a conservation village in the Scottish Highlands, and takes reference from traditional cottages, with deep window openings, and low, hunkered-down eaves.

Forming the first stage of a sensitive infill project developed by the studio, Taigh-Bàta is our own self-build project, and will be available to let from Summer 2023.

Using deep, monolithic clay-block walls, the interior is finished in natural clay plaster, terracotta tiles, and exposed timber.
